The Project

RESET aims to develop and evaluate innovative methodologies and toolkits for the advancement of resilience in the field of basic education. Through creative and emancipatory learning environments it intends to promote self-efficacy and self-care, the expansion of individual scope of action and participation among learners and trainers.

The project aims at:

    integrating resilience

    as a key competence in basic education

    Providing information

    on the effects of trauma, violence and discrimination on learning processes

    supporting adult educators

    through creative learning materials

    raising awareness

    regarding the needs of basic education learners.

    Targets

    It primarily addresses two target groups

    Firstly,  adult  learners who wish to improve their basic education competences and are interested in acquiring strategies for strengthening their self-esteem, their resources, body awareness and social skills among others.

    A

    Secondly, people working in the field of basic education (primarily adult educators, but also education managers and other stakeholder) who wish to integrate resilience fostering aspects in their professional life benefitting participants as well as themselves through self care.
